West Stockbridge Records Dozen Property Deeds, Few Prices Disclosed

West Stockbridge recorded 12 property deed transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, according to the Southern Berkshire Registry of Deeds. Only three deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $100,000 to $1,350,000 with a median of $840,000. The period's top recorded sale was 5 Silver Mine Lane at $1,350,000, sold July 31 by trustees Michael Sternschein and Susan J. Frank to Wadie Bahou and Natalia Marchenko. Stockbridge Road was the only street with more than one recorded transaction. With price data available for just a quarter of the period's deeds, and several transfers involving banks or mortgage entities, the dataset offers a limited read on overall market conditions.
