Select Board approves library trustee, backs Police Station upgrades.

WEST STOCKBRIDGE — Select Board appoints library trustee, authorizes Police Station repairs. The board unanimously appointed Peg Korte as Library Trustee to fill a vacancy until May, approved $25,327 in invoices for asbestos testing, removal, and office equipment at the Police Station, and authorized additional flooring work at $7,940.15 using carried-over fiscal 2025 and fiscal 2026 budget funds. The board also green-lit a trial Open Gym program run by Parks Commissioners on Sunday nights and requested additional information before February 2 on a potential $950,000 federal Housing and Transportation Community Development Block Grant that BRPC would administer at no town cost.
