West Stockbridge Select Board approves Colonial Power contract amendment raising electricity rates. Chair Andrew Krouss, along with members Kathleen Keresey and Tobias Casey, unanimously backed an increase in the town's electricity rate from $0.1375 to $0.1500 per kilowatt-hour effective March, with billing beginning in April, to cover unexpected costs from a January service interruption. The Board also approved the return of student intern Lexi Carpenter to the Police Station, reported near completion of the Community Compact Fiber Grant project bringing faster internet to town facilities, and unanimously approved $1,400 in funding for consultant Jennifer Tabakin to explore grant opportunities through the state's One Stop Grant portal.
