Parks board approves prior minutes, plans Memorial Day parade.

WEST STOCKBRIDGE — Parks and Recreation Committee approves prior minutes, plans 2026 Memorial Day. Cait Graham moved approval unanimously; the committee then detailed assignments for West Stockbridge's year as the local VFW's rotating parade and ceremony site. Joe Roy will confirm 10 a.m. parade start with the school band director and explore post-ceremony soccer.

Graham is securing the MMRHS choir for the National Anthem and will advertise in the Local Yokel for vintage car volunteers to transport veterans. The committee approved distribution of small flag boxes through local merchants and confirmed the Southern Berkshire Cheerleaders Association's participation. Next meeting is scheduled for March 2, 2026, at 5 p.m.
