WEST STOCKBRIDGE — Community Preservation Committee approves four projects, rejects three. The West Stockbridge panel voted to fund a $14,099 playground equipment project, a $9,200 Dog Park improvement package, $24,250 in Old Town Hall upgrades, and a $67,000 Congregational Church ramp (4-1) while rejecting a $58,000 walking path, a $25,000 carriage barn restoration, and a $225,000 Affordable Housing Trust proposal. Chair Jared Gelormino noted feedback from the Massachusetts Community Preservation Coalition that the Trust's accessory dwelling unit program had succeeded elsewhere but its First Time Home Buyer program had struggled due to deed restriction requirements.
