WEST STOCKBRIDGE — The Affordable Housing Trust endorsed a state Seasonal Community designation pending annual town meeting approval. Chair Christopher Powell reported that the Berkshire Regional Business Council may lead a public presentation on the designation's advantages, potentially at the March 30 Select Board meeting or April 27 mini-town meeting. Powell will confirm the Trust account balance and grant spending deadlines with the town accountant, and consult the town attorney on whether the Trust should hold official Community Preservation Committee representation.
Members were directed to pursue Mass Housing Partnership online training, and the MHP's Shelly Goehring may attend a future meeting to discuss Mini Boost Grants and feasibility study grants valued at 30000 to 35000 dollars.
